Haslams will be sponsoring Andrew Fraser and Roger Reid to ‘don’ the lycra on the 17th May when they take part in the Jones Lang La Salle Property Triathlon at the famous Eton Dorney Lake, the rowing venue for the 2012 Olympic Games. The event which is one of the UK’s largest triathlons is open to property professionals, has become a well established date in the property calendar. Previous entrants have also included Formula 1 driver Jenson Button and Olympic Triathlete Helen Jenkins who used the event as part of their training.
The triathlon has raised over £1 million to date for charity, and with just over 1,200 entrants this year, charity partner Samaritans will be benefiting from entry donations.
With both ‘athletes’ yet to get fully in to their training thankfully it is a sprint distance triathlon comprising of 750m swim, 21.2km cycle and a 5km run. Haslams wish Andrew and Roger the best of luck with the challenge.
