Steven leads the Property Valuation and Consultancy Division and operates nationally in the commercial property and development sectors. He focuses on landlord and tenant matters (such as lease events and rent reviews), development land valuation, acquisitions and sales.
Steven is also a Chartered Arbitrator and an experienced expert witness and acts as a single joint expert or third party in dispute resolution cases. He is appointed frequently by the RICS or the parties to act as an Arbitrator or Independent Expert in a variety of land and property disputes.
Particular skills include the appraisal of large development schemes for valuation purposes and viability testing at various planning stages; and dealing with land assembly cases, options, promotion agreements and subject to planning permission disposals.
Steven is a RICS Registered Valuer and an accredited RICS expert witness.
Current clients include a variety of private and public bodies, including local authorities, trusts, charities, schools, plc developers and corporate business.
