Palm Capital Re-launch Newly Refurbished Offices at Abbey Gardens

On Thursday 6th September, Palm Capital re-launched the newly refurbished Grade A Reading office building, Abbey Gardens.

A warm sunlit Reading played excellent host to the launch which encompassed welcome drinks on the building’s rear terrace overlooking The River Kennet, a walk round of the building’s interactive marketing suite, an insight into how the building’s newest tenants have fitted out and made use of their space. The 5-star hospitality provided by Star Events included a two-course lunch in the building’s remaining top floor suite that overlooks Reading Town Centre. Two guests were also lucky enough to win some Apple and Sonos goodies from the event’s prize draw.

Palm Capital acquired Abbey Gardens in July 2017 and in the short time since their acquisition, Abbey Gardens has been completely transformed into a contemporary, attractive and stylish space that is tailored to the modern office and social working environments.

In addition to the Grade A spec’d office accommodation that includes suspended ceilings with LG7 compliant recessed PIR lighting, fully accessible raised floors, VRF heating and cooling system and WC facilities on every floor.

Abbey Gardens now boasts three stunning concierge serviced receptions, a refreshment bar and open social spaces that are great for informal meetings, client greetings and networking. An external terrace, which is available to all the building tenant’s both for private events and casual use and refurbished facilities that include brand new showers and changing rooms, allocated locker provisions and secure bike racking. All of which has been delivered without compromising on the building’s strong parking ratio of 1:1087 sq ft.

The building is currently capable of satisfying requirements from 1,800 sq ft to 22,250 sq ft over contiguous floors. The building has just over 41,000 sq ft available across the 3 blocks.
