Northwood Investors has secured 26,000 sq ft of office lettings at The Blade, Reading’s tallest building, to take it to almost 90% let.
The building comprises 110,000 sq ft of offices over 14 floors and is 86 metres high.
Pure Offices has signed a 15 year lease on the third and fourth floors, comprising 17,000 sq ft.
Megabuyte has expanded into a 1st floor larger suite comprising 4,500 sq ft on a 10 year lease.
CloudFactory has taken 2,500 sq ft on the 7th floor for a term of three years and Northwood Investors has taken 2,500 sq ft on the 2nd floor on a five-year term.
Nick Turner, Asset Management Director at Northwood Investors, said: “The Blade continues to be one of the most high profile buildings in the Thames Valley and has an enviable occupier line up. Pure Offices is opening across two floors this month to provide the best serviced office space the city has ever seen. We now have just 14,000 sq ft available across the fifth floor and part of the seventh floor, with good levels of interest.”
Northwood Investors was represented by Haslams and Lambert Smith Hampton.
