This week’s Estates Gazette revealed its agents rankings for the third quarter 2021. It was a busy quarter for Haslams who topped the table by over 120,000 sq ft compared to second place. The EG Radius Rankings cover all occupier sales and lettings for the period.
Neil Seager partner at Haslams commented “Deals are the most important part of agency and this latest accolade is testament to the focus of the team. We’d like to give a big thank you to our clients for giving us the chance and look forward to transacting more deals for them going forward.
From an industrial perspective, in the short term deals will dry up as the market becomes even more constrained by the lack of choice. This will ease when new schemes such Reading International Logistics Park come on stream at the back end of 2022. Inevitably though, rents will have moved on from their current record levels by then given the supply and demand dynamic. It is a mixed message for offices with better quality and CAT A + opportunities being the most attractive at the current time. Progress will be hampered though if there is another WFH directive from the government…we are keeping our fingers crossed this does not materialise”.
