Haslams Support Tour de Baker Tilly 2014

This Summer saw two of Haslams keen cyclists donning the lycra again to take part in the 2014 Tour de Baker Tilly, an 11 stage charity event covering over 660 miles organised by the accountancy firm, involving groups of around 30 riders per day cycling between the firms network of UK offices, finally ending in Leeds the day before the 2014 Tour de France Grand Depart.

Our surveyors Roger Reid and Will Morris joined at stage 4 of the Tour, and following a breakfast of champions consisting of several rounds of sausage and bacon butties washed down with plenty of coffee, they set off early from central Reading, cycling out through west Berkshire, on to Wiltshire and eventually arriving in Swindon at around 4pm.

Haslams sponsored the pair to take part in the event which overall went on to raise in excess of £18,000 for the Anthony Nolan charity and the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.
