Alongside Reading FC’s promotion, Haslams Chartered Surveyors has been retained by the Club to find a suitable site for an improved `state of the art` Academy and Training Ground. The Club has been asked to find a site of at least 50 acres within around 15 miles or 30 minutes’ drive of the Madejski Stadium located at Reading Junction 11 M4.
Partner Steven Smith says “The Club has an excellent facility at Hogwood Park in Arborfield currently but the need to improve that facility to meet F.A. Category One standard in line with the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) is now paramount and a larger site is required to fulfil the criteria that the Premier League and F.A. requires. Anyone who is aware of a possible site that might be suitable and available should contact us as soon as possible!”
