Haslams Surveyors have secured new premises in the heart of the West End for their client Roc Search as part of the recruitment firms continued expansion.
The move sees their London team relocate to offices in Mayfair at 1 Lumley Street, opposite Selfridges.
The firm will occupy 3,300 sq ft on the 3rd floor of the property which had recently undergone a full refurbishment, and the tenants fit out will include ergonomic stand-up desks and comfy lounge areas as well as table tennis and beer fridges!
Roc Search are a niche recruitment consultancy firm specialising in tech recruitment. The privately owned firm has offices in Reading, Texas and Frankfurt and has appeared in the Sunday Times Top 100 Fast Track in both 2012 and 2013. There are further plans for expansion over the next year as Roc Search tap into the market of skill shortages in cities such as New York, Berlin and Manchester.
Gavin Dent, Director of Roc Search London said, “The Roc Search London team hit the ground running in 2016. We love our new, state of the art office space – the location couldn’t be better! We’ve created an open plan loft-style environment, with room to further expand the team…”
The London West End office market is at an all-time peak of activity with a total annual take up in 2015 of 4.36 million sq ft, the second highest ever recorded and vacancy levels reaching less than 3% of stock.
Eilidh McAllister of Haslams said “This was a challenging but exciting acquisition in such a tight market. We actually viewed the space on the day another party pulled out from being under offer so we needed to move quickly. We’re very pleased to have assisting Roc Search in finding such a suitable office for their requirement given the market conditions.”
In 2013 Haslams also advised Roc Search on acquiring their headquarters at The Blade, Reading’s most iconic office building.
Cushman and Wakefield acted on behalf of the Landlord in the disposal.
