Chris Newman, Partner at Haslams Chartered Surveyors set himself the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in January.
We never doubted Chris’ ability to reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro; his determination and competitive nature being so apparent by all who work alongside him. We did however, underestimate the emphasis he placed on achieving this grueling task – those of you who know Chris will appreciate his detailed comment below when asked to provide some wording for the update we promised in our email earlier in the year:

For those of you who would like to have a more detailed insight into his adventure, we are sure he would be happy to discuss this with you. In the meantime, on behalf of Chris, we would like to thank everyone who supported him when attempting this challenge. In total Chris and the other members of the team managed to raise almost £100,000 for the nominated charities and your donations were greatly appreciated.
